WIP Wednesday

For this Wednesday, I've a couple of new projects to add to my ongoing projects.
I've cut 240 of the 360 3.5" squares from my mostly blue Denyse Schmidt prints. I'm making a simple patchwork squares quilt with these. I may decide to add some grey prints in, haven't decided yet.
I also came to a decision on what to do with some of the prints that I won from Junette. I've picked the Sophie pattern from Cluck Cluck Sew. I thought it would be a great block to showcase the prints. Here's some of my squares cut up, and my first block.
And, I've made some progress on my My Precious quilt blocks. I have about half of the blocks cut into their triangle pieces and have 15 or so sewn into blocks. Here are a few of the blocks I've completed.
Not much progress on my previous WIPs, so no pictures for those.

  1. I love your DS fabric. I'm saving to buy some for me. The Sophie quilt is going to be great judging by that awesome flower block.

    1. Thank you for your compliments. You should stay tuned, as I'm planning a bit of a challenge soon that will have prizes, one of which will be some DS fabric!

  2. I think I am going to like more of your vintage fabric blocks.

  3. Thanks, Fiona. I've been working on them and am liking them more and more.
